There Is Always a Cost
Ladies, we have to be wiser. Taking money from a man you have no interest in being with may seem harmless. It may look like leverage. It may even feel like you’re getting ahead. But there is always a cost. Nothing is free, especially in the spirit. Before you think I’m judging, I’m not. I’ve had to learn this too. I’ve sown in my flesh before. But the Word is clear: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” — Galatians 6:7 (KJV)
If you sow manipulation, you will reap confusion; if you sow deception, you will reap instability; if you sow in the flesh, you will reap corruption.“ For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption…” — Galatians 6:8 (KJV)
It may not feel heavy at first. It may feel small. Strategic. Like a game you can control, but your spirit knows, and over time, your spirit will begin to deplete. Peace becomes harder to maintain. Discernment gets cloudy. Conviction grows quieter. “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” — Romans 8:6 (KJV)
This isn’t about shame, it’s about character, Integrity, and wise judgment. As believing women, we are called higher. We don’t win by playing worldly games. We don’t secure provision through entanglements that will later cost us our peace. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” — Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
If you need provision, ask God. If you need stability, trust God. If you need wisdom, seek God. There is always a cost. I don’t want you to pay in dignity, I don’t want you to pay in peace, I don’t want you to pay in spiritual strength. This is for the women who believe. The women who know better. The women who are growing. We are not desperate. We are not powerless. We are not of this world. Wisdom will always protect what flesh will always risk.
